Super convenient, great alternative to disposable diapers
I ordered a package of these as an alternative to using disposables on a trip where I wouldn't be able to wash diaper laundry. I was pleasantly surprised at how convenient they were to use! You do not NEED to use these exclusively with Grovia covers (although they do fit great) I laid them down in several types of covers, including wool wraps and shorties and they all worked great. They are a bit thinner than using a prefold, but absorb at least as much. They also have more of a cloth like quality/feel to the material that is next to baby than a disposable diaper does.... I will note that my little one did not poo in these but I imagine that it would always get on the cover because there is a gap between the top of the bio soaker and the top of the cover (when put on my 23lb 2yo). Overall, I was very happy with using these in a situation that I would typically purchase a package of disposable diapers. Four star rating only because of the cost compared to a a name brand package of diapers, and the disposables would have a couple more diaper change in it.
